Exercise
Exercise is such an important part of living healthy. By strengthening your heart, muscles and bones, regulating your metabolism and helping to maintain your weight, exercise prevents the onset of disease.
There are 1440 minutes in every day, use 30 of them for exercise!
Ways to fit exercise into your life:
- Go for a walk before dinner with your spouse, kids, dog, neighbor, or friend
- Park the car in the farthest parking spot from your destination
- Take the stairs over the elevator
- Take a group exercise class
- Walk the golf course
- Do jumping jacks in your backyard
- Dance in your living room
- Lift weights
- Walk that memo to your boss rather than emailing it
- Join a basketball league
- Walk or ride your bike to work
- Find an exercise buddy
Any way you can get your body moving for 30 minutes straight or even 10 minutes, 3 times a day will do wonders for your overall health.
